Speaker offers spiritual solutions for healing mind and body — live online and locally

East Lansing, MI —  Conviction and purpose are what guide the life and career of healer and speaker Evan Mehlenbacher, CSB, of Richland, Washington. After receiving a BA in economics from Stanford University, Evan joined the family business — a large farming venture. But he soon found his most important heritage was growing up in a family that practiced spiritual healing, leading to a full-time career helping others find healing and spiritual answers to their everyday problems.

In a live online lecture on Thursday, April 14, at 7:00 p.m., Evan will walk attendees through the practical aspects of Christian Science that empower prayer to heal. “Learn to pray more effectively, feel close to God, and see change for the better happen in your life. Divine help is at hand to solve problems and cure suffering. Anyone can find it,” he asserts.

The login to the free event (in advance, and during the talk) begins with registration via a link from the website: christiansciencemidmi.org. In addition, questions may be privately submitted in writing from any computer during the lecture, and Evan will answer as many as practical at the end. (The talk will be recorded and a link available through the website afterwards.)

Another option, not requiring your own web access, is to join with others that evening to watch the live lecture and Q&A session at the Greater Lansing Christian Science church (709 E. Grand River, East Lansing), the sponsor of the hour-long web event. Admission and child care will be provided there free of charge.

Mehlenbacher has written and published dozens of articles on the subject of prayer-based healing, is an authorized teacher of Christian Science, and travels widely as a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. The ideas he shares are based on the teachings of Jesus as recorded in The Bible, and as explored in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, who discovered Christian Science in 1866.
