Excuse me, are you listening? 10-26

Dear Readers,

I am noticing that plenty of people are resolving to be happier this year.  I think that is an amazing possibility for all.  This year, I will do things differently.  I will work harder on my imperfections.  I will work harder at listening more.  I will work harder to be a better businessperson.  I will work harder to accept responsibility for the things I have done in the past without excuses.

I will definitely work hard to “keep it moving”.  I would suggest you do the same.  You cannot please everyone and not everyone is going to like every decision you make.  There will be some who are so angry that when they actually talk to you they will find that the story that they created in their head about you is actually wrong.  The problem is what should they do with the anger.  There are some who are just plain mean and hateful.  For those who have to live with that bitterness, resolve yourself by knowing what is right and what is wrong.

I am concerned with our youth today.  I have been amazingly blessed with the opportunity to go into schools and speak with students and I still get to see them today.  You know sometimes the truth hurts.  Parents whatever you think you children don’t know, be mindful that they know something.  The words that come out of your mouth need to be followed up with action.  Tough love is difficult but it gives those who get it an opportunity to think.

I am finally working with some amazing people and groups that I can be open with about what I think.  It seems these days if you want to express yourself, you are asking for World War III.  It is unnecessary.

I have a good friend who manages all of her friends by not inviting them to the same events or mixing them at her events.  Very smart.  Think about it.  Live life abundantly and inspire people.

Love people,

Rina Risper

P.S.  I am having a fundraiser in honor of my birthday. The money will go towards T.E.A.M. 517’s  “Must Get a Non-Profit Fund”.
