News Spotlight: Armed Robbery at Gas Station

 

On Sunday, March 24, 2013 at approximately 8:13 a.m. Lansing Police Department was dispatched to the 1900 block of E. Michigan (Speedway gas station) in reference an armed robbery.

 

The suspect in this robbery was gone prior to officers arrival. Investigation revealed that a subject/suspect entered the store, indicated/showed a handgun, and demanded money. The suspect was given an undetermined amount of money and left on foot. No injuries were reported in this incident.

 

Lansing Police and K-9 tracked the suspect to the 200 block of Shepard where the scent was lost. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 6’4’’ in height, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with dirty blue jeans. The suspect wore a mask that is described as tan in color with green teeth and fake blood in areas.

The Lansing Police are asking the public for help identifying this suspect. Police advise the public to not approach this suspect, as he is considered armed.
