Charmaine Green a native of Muskegon Heights Michigan and graduate of Western Michigan University, always knew that Broadcasting was inevitable to her career path. After receiving her B.A in Criminal Justice and pursuing Adult Probation Charmaine felt as if something was missing. Therefore, Charmaine focused on her lifelong love of “Broadcasting”, Charmaine returned to WMU and received another degree in Communications. Charmaine loved the path the “entertainment” field was placing her in and she wanted to learn the other aspect of the entertainment world. Charmaine later took on more challenges and also graduated in Video and Audio Production from Specs Howard School of Broadcasting Arts in Detroit, MI. This career path has taken her to many great places such as Mix 92.3- WMXD( Detroit,MI) WXYZ-TV (Southfield, MI), WQHH (Lansing, MI) and currently Charmaine is the Program Director of (WVIB, Muskegon, MI) V-100 Today’s R&B and Old School. Muskegon’s new Urban/AC station.
Charmaine is grateful to everyone who has been a positive influence and a part of her growth in this field. Charmaine is anxiously waiting on June 24th because she has been working tirelessly on a concert that will bring the community a lot of joy. The V-100 First Anniversary Jam on June 24th is bringing a concert that will star Midnight Starr, Meli’sa Morgan, Syleena Johnson and more acts will be announced. Charmaine has defiantly found her life long career path.
