On Tuesday,March 1, 2016 at approximately 5:22 A.M. Lansing Police were dispatched to the 3200 block of S. Washington (apartment complex) in regard to shots being fired/shooting. Dispatch updated responding Officers the shooting may be on the 5th floor of the apartment building.
On February 29th 2016 the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Michigan State Police Fugitive Team, arrested 43 year old Cari Ann Wright of Onondaga in connection with the death of her daughter, the late Hannah Warner, who died at age 16.
LANSING, MI – Michigan health officials have identified the first confirmed case of Zika virus in a Michigan resident. The patient, a female resident of Ingham County, contracted the virus when traveling in a country where Zika virus is being transmitted. The patient, who was not pregnant, experienced symptoms consistent with Zika virus disease shortly after her return to Michigan.
EAST LANSING, MI– Testing by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services confirms norovirus is the cause of the gastrointestinal illness that sickened at least 375 people who attended events at Michigan State University’s Kellogg Center from February 16–21.
