To celebrate Native American Indian Heritage Month at the Capital Area District Libraries, we’ve compiled a list of five great young-adult books whose protagonists are shaping how teens see identity create their futures.
Grand Rapids’ annual pre-holiday event, the Grand Rapids International Wine, Beer and Food Festival is set for Thursday, November 19 (5-10pm); Friday, November 20 (4pm-10pm) and Saturday, November 21 (Noon-10pm) at DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids located at 303 Monroe Avenue NW. It is the largest wine festival in Michigan.
