On September 11th the United Way annual campaign kickoff event was held at ALIVE! Local businesses, nonprofit agencies and civic and elected officials were on hand to observe 9/11 and to formerly launch the campaign drive.

The gift of giving is so important. When I was a child, my Auntie Barbara was my favorite. She was the coolest and hippest person that I knew. She lived about 30 minutes away and she had 2 sons that were around my age.

What to do when you hate your job? You definitely can’t talk about it. Your spouse may commiserate with you but will ultimately tell you that you have to keep earning a living. Your friends will tell you to suck it up and to be happy you even have a job.
