Prevention and education about water safety was evident at the celebration. Information was available to every attendee.
The Lansing Police Department and Ingham County were also on hand to demonstrate rescue and recovery
techniques.

1OTH ANNUAL AFRICAN AMERICAN PARADE AND FESTIVAL TO BE HELD SEPTEMBER 26TH
LANSING, MI –On Tuesday, August 4, 2009, the Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA) will offer free rides to customers with a valid voter registration card. The card must be presented to the driver when boarding to receive the free ride.
