“With so few cider festivals,  we saw an opportunity to reach a crowd that is underserved. At our past events we always offered a wide selection of ciders,  but we wanted to hold an event that was just about cider”,  said Paul Starr,  owner of I’m a Beer Hound. He added,  ”Before I got into craft beer I drank cider, and now Michigan cideries are creating some really great cider. We wanted to have a festival to showcase the amazing ciders we have in the state of Michigan.”

A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit The Homeless Veterans Project, a local charity that provides services for homeless veterans housed at the Lansing VOA.
