Many individuals unfortunately allow other people to define their existence and destiny.
Jeremiah 1:4-10
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained F1 thee a prophet unto the nations
Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD
Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
To often we allow someone to look at us and define who we are, what we are going to do, or not do, and where we are going. . When this occurs it is generally to the detriment to one ‘s divine purpose
We must understand that another person opinion about us, should not dictate our life direction and mission, unless that person is the “ Father of Life” God himself. God is the only person who can establish your destiny and purpose. As we review Jeremiah 1:4 , God makes it clear he knew us before we were formed in the belly of our mothers. While we are thinking about our future, God has already thought about it, and put things in place for us to achieve his ultimate purpose for who we are, and what we will be.
God gives us a map to follow and allow us to you our free will to achieve the purpose and destiny he has created for us. However, it is extremely important for us all to understand, that whatever the purpose of our lives, we all have one common purpose. Each of us has been designed by God to be an answer to a problem here on earth. Every great leader, who has achieve a positive outcome has brought forth an answer to a problem. This has been true in all of history, and it remains true today. Our modern day accept of this can be verified by the recent election of President Barack Obama.
It is indeed part of God’s ultimate purpose for our Barack Obama to become President of the America. He will be the answer to several of our nations problems. Each of us , is like the President, we are to be an answer to a problem. We are all designed to be an asset and not a liability.
God purpose for all of us, it one that is good and Godly. His desire is that when he speaks something, it is for us to be prosperous. The bibles states in Isaiah 55: 11 “ So Shall my word be that goeth forth out of mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall proper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
This verse is good news; it should be music to our ears. If God says it then is will be so.
In all situation, there is good and God, and then there is evil, and yes there is the Devil. The Devil never wants us to be what God has called us to be. The Devil will give you a picture that produces all of your weakness. If you focus on your weakness instead of God’s will for your life you will end up not accomplishing your divine purpose. In other words, staying focus on your weakness may result in you spending a lifetime in the wildness, rather than living a wondrous life in Jesus Christ.
Your enemy and naysayers, or in today language the “player haters” will say to you, you are not much, or all of that. They will say you are just ordinary and have no real purpose.. If you accept these types of statements you will not feel motivated to go forth. However let me remind you that you may be just ordinary by yourself. But when you are in Christ Jesus, you become more than just ordinary, you become victorious.
God has a history of taking just ordinary people and doing super ordinary things through them. Stop and think about all of your great leaders in the bible. God took a Moses, and he lead God’s people out of the wilderness. God took an Abram and changed his name and he became the father of Faith, God took a Joshua and he experienced victory after victory over the giants of his day. God took a Saul changed his name and he became one of the greatest evangelist ever.
All of this is being said to remind us, that God has a divine purpose for all of us. When we yield to him he allows us to perform super ordinary life changing things through him. Why not yield your life to Jesus Christ and allow God to lead you into your divine purpose.
