Dear Readers,
Spring will be upon us soon and I cannot wait to get out of the office and enjoy myself. I have told myself that I should take better care of the property that surrounds my office and my home. This means that I will have to get my hands dirty.
I am very excited about that. I love gardening and will have more time this year to do so as I have cut back on volunteering for other organizations. It was a lot of work and it took a toll on me and the time I was spending with my family.
I will now be working on events for The New Citizens Press. Tell us what you think we should do.
My children and I plan on growing tomatoes again this year and also mint. I have raised beds that I will put both in so that my weeding will be down to a minimum.
My New New Year Theory is working out quite well for me. In my opinion, people should start preparing for The New Year in October. It gives you three months to focus on what your realistic goals are. The stress is not so great in January and you are well on your way.
I have a simple 6-step plan:
October: disengage from negativity
November: transition because it takes time to disengage.
December: restoration because you need time to organize your thoughts.
January is a time for self -examination!!!! Just in time for the New Year. Now make a resolution.
February is a time to recharge because it is a short month and March will be following behind with Spring.
Finally, March is a time to reclaim. As yourself who am I. Am I being authentic? Am I living my life as painless as possible? Have I made a list of the pros and cons in my life? Have I decided to do something different and followed through?
Start today by simplifying your life and love people. Note: Just because you love them… it doesn’t mean they are willing or able to love back.
