News Spotlight: Armed Robbery of Pizza Driver


On September 4, 2012, officers responded to the 3300 block of N. Grand River Ave on report that a pizza delivery driver was robbed at gun point. The victim, a 22 year old Ovid Michigan resident stated that he had made a pizza delivery on the 3300 block of N. Grand River Ave when he was approached by two males demanding money.
 
The males were wearing black bandanas covering their faces. One of the accused pointed a handgun at the victim and the victim handed over a small amount of U.S. Currency. The two accused then ran east from the scene. A K-9 conducted an unsuccessful track for the accused. The accused are described below; 
 
Accused #1 (subject with handgun, revolver type), male, approximately 5’11” in his early 20’s with corn rows, wearing dark jean pants, a white t-shirt and a black bandana covering his face. 
 
Accused #2 male, approximately 6’1″ in his early 20’s with short shaved hair, wearing dark jean shorts, a white t-shirt, black backpack and a black bandana covering his face.
