Mid-Michigan game show fans are invited to be in the TV studio audience for the taping of two Special Edition episodes of “QuizBusters” on Tuesday, September 11, at WKAR studios on the campus of Michigan State University.
Local personalities and community leaders from the arts, media, politics, theatre and more will face off in team competition, battling for bragging rights in a special 24th season opener of the popular game show from WKAR.
“QuizBusters” host Matt Ottinger will toss out the questions and MSU’s Sparty will be on hand to cheer on the teams. Two games will be played, with two different teams facing off for each game. (Participants will be announced at WKAR Fall Preview 2012 on Thursday, September 6.)
This evening is part of the Evening at WKAR series, where community members are invited to learn more about, and be a part of, public broadcasting in mid-Michigan.
Doors open for general admission seating at 7 p.m. Program taping begins promptly at 7:15 p.m., and will conclude at approximately 9 p.m.
This Evening at WKAR takes place in the WKAR television studios in the Communication Arts & Sciences Building, 404 Wilson Road, on the MSU Parking is free after 6 p.m. in the Trowbridge Road parking ramp, near the South, Main Lobby.

Games taped during the September 11 event will be aired Wednesday, September 19, at 8 p.m., and repeated on Saturday, September 22, at 6 p.m.
