On Friday January 4, 2013 at 12:46 p.m. Lansing Police Department (LPD) detectives responded to a local hospital on report that a 3 month old female infant was being treated for serious internal injuries. The infant, Janayjah Sanders a Lansing resident was pronounced deceased at 10:25 p.m. on Friday January 4, 2013.
The LPD Investigations Division is investigating the matter as a suspicious death. Detectives are currently interviewing witnesses and processing evidence relative to this incident.
