The person who died in an accident that occurred on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at approximately 10:20 p.m. on the 3000 block of Dunckel Rd. involving two vehicles has been identified.
This accident continues to be investigated by the Ingham Regional Crash Investigation Team (I.R.C.I.T.). Preliminary findings indicate Daniel Douglas Warnock’s vehicle (#1) was traveling on Dunckel Rd. and lost control, colliding with another vehicle traveling in the oncoming lane. Mr. Warnock was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased. Road conditions may have played a factor in this accident. It does not appear that alcohol was a factor.
Driver of the other vehicle (#2), a 28 year old Lansing, MI female was not injured. Both vehicles were inoperable and towed from the accident scene. Mr. Warnock was 37 years old and from Williamston, MI.
