Arbow Abdikadir Musa was arrested for armed robbery.
On Thursday, February 8, 2018 at approximately 6:45 p.m. LansingPolice were dispatched to a residence in the 1700 block of Elizabeth St. to meet with a citizen that was just robbed.
Upon arrival Officers met with a 52 year old female (victim) who stated she was just robbed at gun point. She stated the suspect; a late teenage black male skinny wearing all black, approached as she exited her vehicle and pointed a handgun at her. The suspect demanded her purse. The victim gave the suspect her purse and then ran off. The victim was not injured during the robbery.
Officers gave a detailed description of the suspect and direction last traveled to assisting Officers. A Police K9 track was conducted and stalled in the 500 block of Regent. On scene Investigating Officers were able to develop leads on this robbery suspect and his wear abouts.
Officers made contact at a residence in the 500 block of Regent. Several people were inside this residence. Officers located the robbery suspect inside of this residence and arrested him without incident. Officers recovered evidence of the citizen robbery and also the handgun used. The suspect, a 19 year old Lansing man was transported to the Lansing Police Detention facility. No other arrests with regard to this crime were made.
Detailed investigative reports with regard to this crime were completed and given to the Ingham County Prosecutor for review on issuing criminal charges.
