Shalyn Manson the 45 year old, 5'8″, 140 pound missing woman was last seen on November 14, 2018 in the early morning hours. Today the Lansing Police Department along with the Michigan State Police continued their search in the Grand River for missing person Shalyn Manson.
This afternoon the Capital Area Dive Team located and recovered a deceased female body in the Grand River near the 800 block of Moores River.
Initial indication is that the body recovered today, is that of missing person Shalyn Manson. An autopsy will be completed to determine positive identification and cause of death.
Lansing Police investigators do not suspect foul play caused a role in the death. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Lansing Police Detective Matt Salman at 517-483-6855.
