Chandler McClure took the book “She Persisted’’ by Chelsea Clinton to school to share with her classmates.
In recognition of Women’s HERstory Month, Chandler wanted others to read about inspirational women in history.
The book is about thirteen motivating women who never took no for an answer, and who always, inevitably and without fail, persisted.
Chandler is in the second grade.
