LANSING, MI — Roger Frye, of Rayform Productions, will be showcasing his high dynamic range, or HDR photographs, mainly of Michigan, but also his travels though Eastern United States, including Canada, Niagara Falls and Cape Cod.
Frye has been pursuing the art of professional video and photography, in Lansing, Michigan for the past 25 years. His work comes from years of ongoing professional training, which started in the film era and now has fully blossomed into digital multimedia. He is compelled to photograph people, events, landscapes, and nature.
His showing of, “The Magic of Michigan Seasons,” can be viewed at The Soup Spoon Cafe on 1419 Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912. The show date will be Thursday, November 10, 2011 from 7 pm to 11pm.
“My hope is I can bring a new perspective of our state’s beauty to others through the vessel of HDR photography,” said Roger Frye, principal owner of Rayform Productions. “HDR is widely used in the field of photography, but little is seen of this art, consciously, by the untrained eye and I want to bring this art form to life and celebrate Michigan.”
