On June 15th, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Lansing Police were dispatched to 6200 S. Pennsylvania Ave. in regard to a Bank Robbery (Huntington Bank). Responding officers were advised the bank business is within the Meijer store at this address.
Upon arrival officers made contact with employees and discovered the suspect had left prior to their arrival. Preliminary on scene investigation learned the suspect entered the bank area, approached an employee, displayed a note that demanded money. The suspect was given money and quickly left walking. No weapon was indicated and no one was injured during the robbery.
The suspect is described as;
White male, 45-55 yrs., medium build, thin goatee, wearing a light grey long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, dark shoes and a knit stocking hat rolled up (see attached photos). It is believed the suspect entered a vehicle and drove off. The car is a 4 door, light grey possible Oldsmobile Alero.
