Bank Robbery Suspect Caught

On Friday, February 9, 2018 at approximately 3:30 p.m. Lansing Police were dispatched to a Bank Robbery in the 5200 block of S. Cedar St. (Comerica Bank).

 
Officer’s preliminary investigation and working in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) determined the suspect entered the bank, approached a teller, and demanded money. The suspect was given money and he exited the bank heading in an unknown direction. No one was injured during the robbery.
 
A detailed description of the suspect was relayed to assisting Officers. Within a short period of time Officers identified a location on the possible robbery suspect. Officers made contact at a residence in the 100 block of W. Jolly Rd. and located a person of interest related to the robbery. A 47 year old Lansing man was taken into custody without incident.
