Bridgewater Interiors will serve as an Employer of the Day at Capital Area Michigan Works! Lansing Service Center, 2110 S. Cedar Street, on Mon., July 24 and Tues., July 25 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. During that time, job seekers can visit the service center to fill out applications and be interviewed on the spot for a variety of manufacturing production positions. Selected applicants will be asked to return the afternoon of July 24 or 25 for further pre- employment screening.
The Employer of the Day program is a no-cost service for both job seekers and employers.
Applications for Bridgewater Interiors’ open positions are also being accepted on an ongoing basis at all three of Capital Area Michigan Works Service Centers – Lansing, 2110 S. Cedar St., Charlotte, 311 W. First St., and St. Johns, 101 W. Cass St., Suite A of the Wilson Center. Another manufacturing employer in the region is also following suit in hiring trends. Ryder Systems is hiring up to 300 manufacturing employees, also tied to the new General Motors Delta Township facility. Interested job seekers can view the job postings on the Michigan Talent Bank, but must call 517-492-5500 or visit the Lansing Service Center in advance to sign up for an application session. The final application sessions in July are Wed. July 26 at 1:30 p.m. and Fri., July 28 at 8:30 a.m. The application may take up to three hours to complete. A listing of information to bring will be given to job seekers upon signing up for the sessions.
