Jill on Money: Investors rage as interest rates rise

As we close out the first quarter of the year, it appears that some have entered the third stage of the psychological condition known as “investor angst” (IA). This malady’s primary symptom causes overarching worry about how every holding in an investment account might react to changes in Federal Reserve policies.

The hardest part of my job is explaining to a client why they have a large tax bill. This is a difficult discussion because nobody wants to pay more taxes to the IRS. Here are some tips on paying sufficient taxes throughout the year so you don’t get a surprising tax bill at the end of the year.
