LANSING, MI- Peckham has named Lisa Webb Sharpe as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Webb Sharpe will begin her appointment in late August 2020, and will join the C-team in leading the award-winning organization in the achievement of its mission and business operations.

On October 14, 2020 at 9:55 p.m., Lansing Police were dispatched to an apartment in the 1000 block of W. Cavanaugh on a burglary complaint. Dispatch updated responding officers that the suspect, Keyona Amaris Young , 26-year-old female, had made entry into the apartment and was attempting to set it on fire.
On October 6th, at approximately 10:30 pm, Lansing Police Officers responded to a report of a shots fired in the 3600 block of Donald Street. Ingham County Dispatch updated responding Officers there was a subject shot in the street. Officers arrived on scene and located a 31 year old male, David John Kessler from Lansing, MI not responsive in the roadway with an apparent gunshot wound. Officers rendered first-aid until Lansing Fire Medics took over. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
