Submissions are now open, with full details atwww.abff.com. The pool of entries will be narrowed down to up ten semi-finalists, from which four finalists will be selected to receive a trip to 2014 ABFF, in NYC, June 19-22, where they will perform live before the festival audience, for the chance to win an audition with HBO.

Schools to carry epinephrine injectors to help protect students from dangerous food allergies

Gov. Rick Snyder, state Rep. Lisa Posthumus Lyons, and Doug and Lisa Rutter, of Rochester, and their sons, 6-year-old Evan and 4-year-old Hayden,  after the governor signed House Bills 4352 and 4353. The new laws require Michigan schools to have at least two epinephrine injectors onsite and have at least two staff members trained to use the devices.
