We all should probably make more of an effort to empathize. Earlier this week I went to visit a friend of mine at her office. She had company, a co-worker and they were in the middle of a rather heated debate. I attempted to excuse myself as it was the polite thing to do. However, I was intrigued and thankful when the two of them asked me to stay.

In 2011, the heir to the British throne, Prince William, delighted the world by taking a bride. This year is an important one for a different generation of the royals. William’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, is celebrating a Diamond Jubilee-her 60th year as queen.
I have to admit I am a fan of the English royal family, much to the amusement of my friends and co-workers.

One of the strongest bonds between a father and his son is sports. From the father teaching the son how to play a sport, to just spending time to watching games together, sports are a big dynamic in this relationship.

I enjoyed your article on Lonnie Johnson and his family history. There are some old Lansing families you might consider looking into. Some are friends who are very successful attorneys now. Vence Bonham’s father was a community leader in Lansing and President of the NAACP here.
