On Sunday, May 5, 2013 at approximately 1:50 a.m. Lansing Police were in the area of E. Michigan and Larch St. and were flagged down by an employee of a Rum Runners. The employee stated he was having trouble with a patron.
The Ingham County Sheriff’s Office Delhi Division is investigating a missing juvenile. Jamia Janay Tyson, a 13-year-old black female has been missing since April 20,2013.
Spring in Michigan means a lot of diverse outdoor recreationalists taking to the woods in search of edible mushrooms, migrating birds, wild turkeys, fishing spots or just some solitude. Michigan’s conservation officers are offering some common sense safety tips for anyone taking to the woods for some fun and adventure.
CATA will host its 14th Annual Community Health Fair on Friday, April 19, 2013 at the CATA Transportation Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is a FREE event.

On Sunday, March 24, 2013 at approximately 8:13 a.m. Lansing Police Department was dispatched to the 1900 block of E. Michigan (Speedway gas station) in reference an armed robbery.

On Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at approximately 1:00 a.m. Lansing Police Officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of Vine St. in regards to a Home Invasion in progress. The caller/home resident informed dispatch that several male subjects forcibly entered the house with weapons. Anderson and Marshall have hearings scheduled in 54-A District court in front of Judge Deluca.
WASHINGTON, DC — The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) announced plans today to transition to a new delivery schedule during the week of Aug. 5, 2013 that includes package delivery Monday through Saturday, and mail delivery Monday through Friday. The Postal Service expects to generate cost savings of approximately $2 billion annually, once the plan is fully implemented.
