The Owosso Mainstreet/DDA and Shiawassee County Convention & Visitors Bureau invite you to the Annual ArtWalk Owosso, sponsored by LAFCU Credit Union. The event will be held throughout the Downtown area on Friday September 11, 2015 from 4-8pm.
Our downtown area will host over 40 artists as this event continues to grow. Musicians will be found around every turn and food and drink specials will be offered in our local restaurants. The Main Street Plaza, located on the corner of Washington and Main (M-21) Street will be the starting point for the event. Complete event maps will be available here and at participating locations. The plaza itself will feature artists, musicians, sidewalk chalk art, balloon sculptures, a silhouette artist and a craft coffee experience by Foster Coffee Company.

Additional ArtWalk highlights include new additions; ArtBike, which features unique, decorated bikes throughout Downtown Owosso and Westown and an Artisan Row located on the 200 block of West Exchange (same location as Downtown Owosso’s Farmers Market).
Back by popular demand is the Free Photo Booth offered by Michael Paine Photography. Bring in the family for fun group photos!
First Congregational Church will be offering a special Homemade Chicken Van Gogh dinner, 5-7:30pm, Adults $8, kids 5 and under $5.
Curwood Castle Park features the Owosso Wall of History and The Shiawassee Arts Center (SAC). SAC will be displaying and selling the multi-media artwork of 39 mid-Michigan artists. Visit the Frederick Frieseke Gallery displaying originals and prints of the Owosso-born and internationally famous impressionist painter. Light refreshments and music will be offered on the open-air Cottonwood Terrace. Enjoy a live demonstration by Flushing Botanical Artist, Barbara Holmer.
ArtWalk Owosso is a unique celebration of local and regional art and downtown businesses and attractions. The collaboration of artists and merchants along with the art and architecture of our beautiful downtown promises to make a great evening of conversations, discovery, happy taste buds and pride for the community we call home.
