Dear Readers,
In our March 24, 2002 to April 6, 2002, I wrote about a reader who could not find Little Ceasars pizza shop on Logan and Grand River. He was new to the area. We contacted corporate office to express our concerns regarding the name change of Logan to Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., which occurred over ten years ago. We pleased to announce that current Little Ceasars advertisements reflect Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
The winner of our last contest, Amia Davis, who attends Waverly East, also included the patent number when she mailed her answer in. I thought that was very impressive for a sixth grader to take extra effort to obtain that information.
The New Citizens Press will be featured each week on the show Time Slot, with Melik, the host and his co-host, Nadia Sellers. The show airs on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm. Please tune in, they have great guests and interesting topics.
It is almost Father’s Day and this edition is packed with information regarding fathers. Fathers are very important to our children’s lives and should be told so every day.
Remember, please support the individuals and businesses you see listed here. If you are in need of a painter, contact Mr. Wayne Hardy, he is excellent, honest and reasonable. His advertisement is on page 7. Please keep the e-mails coming we love them.
Sincerely,
RN Risper
