Dear Readers,
Live Simply. Take Chances. Love people! Our mantra for 2012 is derived from our current and past sense of renewal. We love Lansing. We love Michigan. We have hope and suggest that you find it in your soul as well. The new year will be particularly interesting as I move into new spaces and leave sluggish spaces in the past. We are ushering The New Citizens Press right along as well.
Every January 1st edition, we give an update and it is the only time you will find my face on the front of the newspaper. During break, I usually go through my stacks of newspapers from previous years and do a lot of laughing and wondering, “Whatever happened to so and so….”
Well after many years, The New Citizens Press is still here to serve you and this community. While you may not agree on everything that we cover, we do cover some interesting and informative issues. But some issues are the same.
We are still looking for those large corporations who could advertise in niche publication. We have added Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin to our resources. We are still uploading back editions of The New Citizens Press and will until we are complete. We are grateful for the people that we work with. We are grateful for the businesses who carry the paper. We are grateful for our new friends. We are amazingly lucky to have long time subscribers and a great readership. There will be changes in the near future. We cannot divulge them as of yet but keep reading.
You can put so much effort into making someone else’s dreams come true, in 2012 do it for yourself too.
Love people,
Rina Risper
