Living with diabetes does not mean you have to miss out on all the delicious food during the holidays or special occasions.
I have gathered several of my favorite recipes that are all diabetic-friendly and full of flavor so that you and your entire family will enjoy them!!
We all need to eat healthier, so why not start here. You don’t have to be a Top Chef to make these simple dishes. Grab your pots and pans and let’s go!!

3 cups strawberries, fresh, sliced
2 cups frozen yogurt, vanilla, low fat and no sugar added
6 graham crackers
8 tablespoons whipped cream, light
In each glass, crumble 1/2 of a graham cracker, then cover with a layer of sliced strawberries, then some of the frozen yogurt. Repeat layer starting with graham crackers, reserving a few crumbles to garnish the top. Top with a dollop of light whipped topping and sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs. Serve immediately.
Per Serving About: 140 calories, 7 g fat, 4 g saturated fat, 0 g trans fat, 25 mg cholesterol, 3 g protein, 18 g carbohydrates, 2 g dietary fiber, 65 mg sodium, Exchanges: 0.5 Fruit, 0.5 other carbs, 1.0 fat Carb Choices: 1
This is a simple and light dessert and you can substitute with blueberries, raspberries or other fruit. Serve in a pretty glass bowl or individual wine glasses.
