Michigan Power Equipment’s Open House Set for Businesses on March 19th

OKEMOS, MI — Jon Brown, affectionately known as J.B., greets his customers with a smile. Behind the smile is a wealth of knowledge and exceptional customer service that he shares with those who walk through the doors of Midwest Power Equipment’s new showroom located at 2446 Jolly Road in Okemos.  The building used to house the Coffee Barrel. The store recently moved from its location at 1732 Hamilton Road because business was growing.

A busy stream of customers kept the employees busy, dropping off stalled snow blowers for repair and  while waiting they gazed over lawn and garden equipment. Surely, they were making mental notes of what they would need when the cold spell broke.  Even though there is snow still on the ground, Brown is preparing for the busy spring season that starts in March and ends in June.  A special day for contractors and businesses to come in and see the latest in power tools, pumps, tillers, cultivators, lawn mowers, trimmers, generators, parts and accessories for power tool usage is set for March 19th.

Brown said, “We have so much more to offer in our new building.  It is spacious which gives us an opportunity to really showcase our products to our customers.”

They carry top of the line power tools like Honda, Snapper, Stihl and Toro products. They also repair many brands of power equipment.

Brown’s father and mother, David and Bobbie Brown, were the former owners.

David worked side by side with his son answering calls and pulling stock from the shelves for customers.  Both father and son know that those who come to their business tend to return because of the value of straight talk and genuine advice about the products and services they offer.

The store is open from Monday – Saturday 8 am- 6 pm.  To inquire about other products sold or repaired, please contact them at 517-349-6271.
