On 30 October 2012 @ 6:49 p.m. LPD officers responded to a local hospital on report that a 39 year old male had been assaulted.
The male reported that he was attacked with a baseball bat by a male acquaintance while inside of his residence on the 1600 block of Linval St. The known accused struck the victim on the head with the bat several times. As a result, the victim lost consciousness but recalls that the accused and another male subject took electronic items from his residence.
The accused further stabbed and beat the victim’s 7 year old pit bull to death. The victim is currently in stable condition and believes the incident took place between the hours of 4:10 and 4:49 p.m. on October 30, 2012. No one is in custody at the time of this writing.
