Lansing Jaycees Monster Mayhem Haunted House Rises Again

LANSING, MI — Making a return this year from a two-year hiatus the once familiar Lansing staple during the month of October, the Lansing Jaycees Monster Mayhem Haunted House, is returning. “It’s the number one thing the community has asked us to bring back. We are more than happy to be able to oblige,” says Angela Fossi 82nd President of the Lansing Jaycees.

The previous haunted house location at Impression 5 was a fantastic partnership; however it was time for a new home for Monster Mayhem. The new location at 5136 S. Cedar in the Cedar Jolly-Cedar Plaza is a great new location, found with the diligent help of CB Richard Ellis/Martin commercial realtor. With the new location Monster Mayhem will feature a larger space for more scares, in addition to an easier location for people to find and park at.  “There are a number of events planned to help get the word out that the Monster Mayhem is back and that there is a new location. Don’t be surprised to start seeing monsters and ghouls popping up in establishments around Lansing in the near future.” says Amy Miller Past President of the Lansing Jaycees and Planning Committee member for Monster Mayhem.

This year the Lansing Jaycees Monster Mayhem Haunted House will be open the last three weekends of October. The goals of Monster Mayhem are to give Lansing residents a local haunted house to visit during Halloween, and to raise funds for Lansing Jaycees community service events held throughout the year. These events include the Easter Egg Hunt on the Capital Lawn, Comedy for a Cause, and Relay for Life.
