The Lansing Board of Water & Light will co-sponsor
the second annual Recycle Rama to assist Ingham County
residents in recycling a wide range of household materials.
Recycle Rama takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April
9 in the parking lot of the Ingham County Health
Department, 5303 S. Cedar Street, Lansing.
Recycle Rama provides an opportunity for Ingham
County residents to safely dispose of unwanted items.
Among those items are: Shoes, clothing, scrap metal,
appliances, books, bikes, expired medications, eyeglasses,
computers and other home electronics, mercury thermostats
and compact fluorescent light bulbs.
BWL residential electric customers can turn in old,
inefficient working dehumidifiers or room air conditioners.
They will receive a $15 rebate through the BWL’s
Hometown Energy Savers program. More information can
