At 11:35 am, the Lansing Fire Department was dispatched to a fire at 2008 W. Willow, DeLuca’s Restaurant, on the city’s North side. The first arriving engine company reported smoke showing from the roof. Truck company members quickly accessed the roof and found a small fire in a vent pipe. The fire was quicklly extinguished,with no injuries reported. Employees of the restaurant had evacuated all persons prior to the arrival of LFD. The restaurant is open for business at (517) 487-6087.
