News Spotlight: Police Looking for Information Regarding Shooting on Waverly Road

 On June 8, 2012 at 2:32 p.m., the Lansing Police Department responded to the area of Max and Main St. on report that a shooting victim was waiting for medical transport. 

Lansing Fire Department was further dispatched to the location and contacted the victim, a 19 year old Lansing male. Officers further received information and located the crime scene on the 3300 block of Waverly Road where it appears that the shooting took place.
The male victim was transported to a local hospital reference two gunshot wounds and has since been released. 
The victim provided limited information concerning the incident and the Detective Bureau is investigating. The Detective Bureau is analyzing a host of evidence and seeking assistance from the community in solving this crime.
