On 10/29/12 @ 11:46 p.m. Lansing Police Department Officers responded to a residence on the 1300 block of Illinois Ave. Upon contact a 24 year old male was found deceased from a gunshot wound. Preliminary findings suggest that this was an accidental shooting. However, Lansing Police Department Detectives are still investigating the matter and the case is presently considered open.
The name of the victim has further not been released at this time.
