On July 5, 2014 at 4:34 p.m. officers responded to a residence on the 100 block of Shepard St to check the welfare of a female. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased 52 year old Lansing female inside the residence. Officers were alerted to the female by a family member.
Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded and have termed the death as Suspicious. Detectives are actively investigating matter and the victim is identified as Heather Gilbert, 52 year old Lansing female.
