At 7:55 p.m., LPD 911 Center received a call that an armed robbery had just taken place at the Marco’s Pizza Shop at 2918 N. Larch. Officers arrived at the scene and received information that employees were following the accused vehicle.
Officers located the vehicle crossing MLK near Queen, and observed it pull into 1500 Blk of Redwood. The accused exited the vehicle and ran to the rear of the residence. Officer quickly set up perimeters around the house.
An LPD K-9 Team responded and began tracking the accused that ran north east. Just prior to catching up to the accused he came out of back yard in front of officers and was taken into custody without incident.
A second subject exited the front of the residence as officers entered through the rear. The contact team that entered the home located the third accused hiding upstairs.
All the three accused are Lansing men in their late 20’s. Two of the three men face charges of Armed Robbery.
