On Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 2:45 am Ingham County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 2100 block of Phillips Avenue in Delhi Township for a vehicle that crashed into an apartment building. A vehicle driven by a 25-year-old Lansing woman left the roadway and struck an apartment building, narrowly missing a resident inside who was sleeping.
The driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. Alcohol is believed to be a factor. The investigation will be turned over to the Ingham County Prosecutors Office for review and possible Operating While Intoxicated charges. The Ingham County Sheriff’s Office urges everyone to drive safe and sober.
