Next Edition will Feature 2009’s Best, Brightest and Most Beautiful…TNCP Catches Up With Past Honoree

The Best, Brightest and Most Beautiful 2009  edition will be featured in the June 24, 2009 – July 4, 2009 edition.  We have some surprises for you.  Our goal is to introduce you to people who are making strides towards making the Greater Lansing Area look great.

Featured in this article is Malika Reynolds Sylvain of East Lansing.  Who has joined Lansing-based Granger Construction as the firm’s new Business Development and Community Outreach Leader.

She was selected by The New Citizens Press as one of the Best, Brightest and Most Beautiful in 2006.

A business administration graduate of Saint Augustine’s College in Raleigh, North Carolina, Sylvain’s responsibilities will include developing relationships with the potential to cultivate new business opportunities, creating greater awareness of the services Granger offers, and reaching out to diverse contractors and vendors to generate greater involvement in Granger’s business opportunities.

Prior to joining Granger Construction, Sylvain served in sales and marketing capacities for several Mid-Michigan business enterprises including Shared Demands L.L.C and Shared Demands L.L.CInc. of East Lansing. Prior to that, she was engaged in retail management.

Recognized for her leadership and community service, Sylvain was nominated for Greater Lansing Business Monthly’s 10 Over the Next 10 Awards 2007.  She is also a proud legacy member of Jack and Jill of America and has been a member of Delta Sigma Theta, a community service sorority, for 15 years.

Founded in 1959, Granger provides Design/Build, Construction Management and General Contracting services to clients throughout Michigan. In addition to its headquarters in Lansing, Granger also has a West Michigan Regional office in Grand Rapids.

Sylvain is off to a great start in her new position which should prove to a a benefit to the communities and organizations that she serves.
