There are a handful of such truths that can radically transform your perception and be the first steps toward living your best life. The following truth, if recognized and internalized, can lead to a whole new way of looking at the world that will allow you to get the most from it: You have a limited amount of time and energy to invest. 

LANSING, MI — Michigan’s recent heat wave in early July led to many people being medically affected by the heat. During the 10 hottest days of the heat wave, heat-related emergency department (ED) visits increased 89 percent from the previous 10-day period, with 734 ED visits versus 389.

  Guaranteed income for life, especially in the aftermath of a deep recession and financial crisis, sounds wonderful. That must be why insurance companies are ramping up their marketing of annuities. Each year the Children’s Services Division of the Michigan Library Association selects a book to receive its Mitten Award. Established in 1999, the award recognizes and promotes quality literature for ages up to 12.

We have this saying in our house, “please forgive me for offending you”.  Forgiveness is a

two way street. There is acknowledgment that you have offended someone, and then there is receiving of forgiveness. Once I initiate the saying, there is a sense of relief in the among family after forgiveness is given and received. My pride issues are gone. I can actually function again.
