News Spotlight: Ruth Hallman 4th Annual Chili & Soup Birthday Party
Each year since the murder of Ruth Hallman in 2007 a memory Birthday Party is celebrated to honor her for the work she did in the Lansing community to make all neighborhoods a safer place to live, work and play. Ruth served as a Watch Coordinator, President of her Neighborhood Association and on the North Precinct Advisory Board lending her support and knowledge to enhancing our community.

Knitters from Mid-Michigan will gather from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2011, to knit together and make items to benefit young adults at Child and Family Services of Lansing. The Knit-a-Thon will be held at Perspective2, 319 East Grand River Ave. in Lansing, Michigan’s Old Town.
