My mother tried with all her motherly might to get me to write thank you notes with no success. Unless she was hovering over me they just did not get done. She would remind me, nag me, pester me, and throw a box of silver embossed notes with envelopes my way.
Work in retirement? It might sound like a contradiction in terms, but we’re looking for ways to achieve financial security over a retirement that could last 20 years or more. Join in the festivities which starts at the corner of Woodward and Mack in Detroit. The 18th annual celebration of Caribbean culture and heritage will be held on August 14 and 15, 2010 at Hart Plaza in Detroit. This two-day event will be booming with festivities. I wonder what she would say, now that we have gone through answering machines, remote access answering machines, pagers, cellular phones, E-mail, instant messaging, text messaging, and online video communication. It is absolutely amazing there are so many different ways a person can choose to communicate.
