Caribbean Carnival Set to “Jump Up” in Detroit

 

Be dazzled by the Caribbean parade and festival. Experience the sounds and sights of creatively designed costumes and the dynamic high energy of the revelers. Join in the festivities which starts at the corner of Woodward and Mack in Detroit.  The 18th annual celebration of Caribbean culture and heritage will be held on August 14 and 15, 2010 at Hart Plaza in Detroit.   This two-day event will be booming with festivities. The parade will start at the corner of Woodward and Mack at 11:00 am, and it is expected to reach the festival in Hart Plaza at Woodward and Jefferson by 1:30 pm. Courtesy photo.
