On August 20, I made a pilgrimage to San Antonio, TX to say goodbye to my mentor and friend, Trinidad (Trino) Sanchez Jr. It was one of the the greatest spiritual experiences of my life.
I believe that one of the main reasons that God placed us here on this planet called Earth is to learn how to be free.

Some people are saying that we should give Lansing’s Mayor a chance. I guess for them six months isn’t enough, even though many jobs have a six-month probationary period. Why then should it be any different for the Mayor?

LANSING, MI — A local recall committee began circulating petitions in hopes of removing Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero from his seat. Recently, Ingham County’s election committee approved the recall petition language. The committee has 90 days to gather nearly 8,500 signatures.
