Sikh Day Parade Honored the Sikh Religious Faith
Guru Nanak Sikh Centre held their first Sikh Day parade. The gathering was an opportunity for the community to fellowship and enjoy Indian entertainment. Over 800 Sikhs marched from all over Michigan and surrounding states.

The Sikh’s wear orange to represent alligence to their flag which is also orange.
The planning committee invited the entire community to share in celebrating their culture.
They plan on making it an annual event.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau and quite contrary to what is usually reported, 79% of Mexicans speak Spanish at home.
