UPDATE: Missing Lansing Man’s Body is Found, Death is Considered a Homicide

LANSING,MI — At approximately 4:00 p.m., a hunter on private land looking for deer sheds, came across what he believed to be human remains in the woods. Michigan State Police (MSP) troopers along with detectives from the Special Investigation Section and the MSP Lab from the Lansing Post were dispatched to the area of Cochran Rd near Eaton Hwy, in Oneida Twp, Eaton County, after the deceased subject was found in the woods.

The subject is a male and positively identified as 28-year-old Raequan Brown.  This was a part of an ongoing missing person investigation that the Lansing Police Department is conducting. 

Brown was reported missing from the Northside of Lansing by the Lansing Police Department on February 28.
