Dear Rina,

Pat from Mancino’s of St. Johns has graciously offered a Meal Deal Coupon for $15.00 (1 Large-two Topping Pizza, a Order of Garlic Cheese Bread and 4 Beverages). This is a saving of $7.41 from the menu.

$8.00 of every coupon sold will go to Officer William Darnell’s family to pay for everyday living expenses. These coupons will not expire until June 30, 2009. Cash or checks are accepted. Checks for the Pizza Coupons can be written out to the William Darnell Fund.

What a wonderful deal for a night out on the town or a night in at home. They also make great Christmas presents or stocking stuffers!

Officer Darnell was shot while on duty on November 6, 2008 and remains at Sparrow Hospital in stable condition. Despite being shot in the face, a good but difficult recovery is expected. Officer Darnell is expected to be in the hospital for some time as he is still on a ventilator and faces reconstructive surgery. Furthermore, he will have to go through extensive speech therapy.

Officer Darnell and his wife, Ellie have three children, twins Craig and Duncan (5) and a daughter Dominique (8). To make matters worse, two of the Darnell’s children were recently treated after one was diagnosed with leukemia and another one with a brain tumor. Both children are doing all right but both require frequent visits to the doctor. This family survives mostly on Darnell’s income which will be reduced while collecting worker’s compensation. They could really use
our help.

Hello TNCP,

I love Barack Obama. I’m happy for him.  I can’t wait until he moves into the White House.  I didn’t like the way John McCain talked about Barack Obama, he was mean. Barack Obama handled his business.
